Natural glass cleaner is neither expensive nor time consuming to make, and you’ll love the results. With so many toxins present in our daily life (usually without our realization) I like knowing that my family isn’t being exposed to YET ANOTHER product with dangerous chemicals. While I cannot keep my family away from all toxins, I surely can take care of this one!
Easy DIY Recipe – Essential Oils Natural Glass Cleaner
Tip: When using essential oils, it is usually best to use a glass spray bottle – if possible.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup alcohol
- 1 1/2 cup vinegar
- 3 cups water
- 5 tsp. cornstarch
- 5 – 10 drops each lemon/citrus essential oils, lavender or other
- 1 spray bottle
- Combine liquid ingredients in spray bottle
- Mix well by shaking gently
- Add cornstarch – shake to mix
- Add essential oils
- Shake well prior to each use
- Use cloth, newspaper, paper towels or old towels to wipe glass down after spraying
Important
Alcohol in this product should be handled by adults, but once it’s all mixed up – kids can help with this household chore. In addition, they will probably get a kick out of the idea that you’ve made it at home!
